I have a really amazing update to share with you.

As you know I started an immunotherapy treatment in January. This treatment was not covered by the government. The pharmacy that provides the medications has been paying 50% of the cost, which still left me with a $16,000 medication bill every six weeks. To date we have spent $73,329.42 on the medications, most of which has been covered by our amazingly supportive community, friends, and family.

This week, the pharmacy called me with an amazing surprise. After learning about the success I’ve been getting from the treatment, and knowing our struggle to continue funding it long-term, they have decided to give me the treatment on a compassionate basis, covering the cost entirely, going forward, until January 2026!

I can’t describe the renewed sense of hope we’ve had over the past 6 months. Seeing our friends and family pull together to help me fund a treatment having no guarantee it would work. Seeing that treatment do amazing things. And now not having to worry about the cost going forward. We are truly at a loss for words to describe the rush of overwhelming feelings.

I’m thinking about all of you, and how you helped me get here. You’ve touched the hearts of my family and I in the most meaningful way possible.
